My story about a Lisbon Lookout..

My first day in Lisbon and my host says ¨you have to go to this secret lookout that I know which has the best views in Lisbon. You can´t beat local knowledge, so off I trot. I caught the right bus which took me on a half hour tiki-tour of Lisbon suburbs into the city. I eventually found the ferry building in the city and caught the number 3 ferry to the little town of Cacilhas. I found the walkway which ran for a couple of kilometers along the edge of the Tagus river. I even found the lift building which was going to take me up to the wonderful lookout. Unfortunately it was closed for repairs.. On my 2 kilometer walk back to Cacilhas I found Snoopy and a couple of posters for DONK (if you know what it means please let me know. All I could find was a that it is an old English word for moist). I also had a nice waterfront coffee and checked out the Portugese Navy circa 1845..
